Breakfast beneath the Balloons of Luang Prabang
July 16, 2024 • Luang Prabang, Laos
Morning alms and burner flames
The first balloons rise while the monks collect alms along Sisavangvong Road. Elena Rossi balanced between both rhythms, letting the "Hot Air Balloons over Luang Prabang" print hold the moment when saffron robes met drifting silk shadows.
Mist over the Mekong
From the peninsula we watched the Mekong breathe out layers of fog. Each balloon disappeared, then reemerged in warm light. Those soft edges are stitched into the print, giving collectors a window into Laos' unhurried dawns.
A slow travel reminder
Hang this story where you drink your morning coffee. It whispers to move slower, to watch steam curl and sunbeams crawl across the floorboards just as they did along the Nam Khan that day.
