There are no fees or upfront costs to join The Story Wall. By submitting your stories, you simply grant us permission to produce and sell your approved editions on your behalf. We take care of everything — from printing and packaging to marketing, publishing, and delivery. You just sit back and collect your commissions from every sale. Who can apply to become a seller?

Any photographer or storyteller whose work captures genuine emotion and narrative depth is welcome to apply. We’re not looking for generic travel shots — we seek stories that can live as collectible art.

How many images can I submit?

You can submit up to 10 low-resolution images for your initial application. Each should include a short description of the story, location, and context behind the shot.

Do I keep the copyright to my images?

Yes. You always retain full copyright ownership of your work. The Story Wall only receives limited rights to produce, market, and sell your approved editions under a signed artist agreement.

What happens after I’m accepted?

Once approved, we’ll request your high-resolution files and finalize an Artist Agreement detailing edition types, pricing, and your revenue share. Our team handles production, packaging, and customer service — you simply collect your sales.

How do payouts work?

All payments are made automatically on a monthly basis, based on confirmed and delivered sales. You’ll also have access to a transparent dashboard showing live sales performance.

What are the commissions for artists?

Artist commissions typically range between 15% and 35%, depending on edition type and collaboration level. Affiliates can also earn an extra 5% on referred sales.

Do I need to print or ship the orders?

No — everything is handled by The Story Wall Studio in Munich, from printing and quality checks to packaging and worldwide delivery. Every print is inspected and prepared by our team to meet museum-grade standards.

How long does the review process take?

Most applications are reviewed within 3–5 days, depending on submission volume and story quality. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your portfolio has been assessed.

Can I sell my photos elsewhere too?

Yes, you remain free to sell your other works. However, selected stories featured on The Story Wall must remain exclusive to the platform for their edition lifetime.

How do I join the affiliate program?

Once you’re part of The Story Wall collective, you’ll receive access to your affiliate dashboard where you can generate links and track referred sales with your 5% commission.
